How To Quickly and Easily Get People Buying Your Expensive Products…

December 18, 2008 · Filed Under Marketing · Comment

Here’s an interesting idea that I’ve used plenty of times in the past to promote EXISTING products, but only recently used to LAUNCH a product.

The idea in a nutshell is this –

Create a “master resale rights” report/product on a topic related to your main product to distribute simultaneously.

So, what happens is this: you begin selling this low-cost report and allow everyone who buys a copy (regardless of who they buy it from) to resell it and keep 100% of the profit. The report itself provides useful content related to the topic of your main product, but also promotes the main product!

Note: Your “master resale rights” report/product should come complete with a ready-made salesletter that the distributor can use to sell the report at their site.

The MRR report spreads from one distributor to others and carries your marketing message right along with it a “piggyback” ride!

Share information that is USEFUL to the reader on its own merit. That is, the reader can read the content and find value in it without making any additional purchase. They can use the information as it is written to product a desired result upon putting it into practice. That is the USEFUL side of it.

But…

The information should also be INCOMPLETE in that it can be enhanced by obtaining an additional resource such as a detailed report, a software program, a service or a coaching program. While the information can be used in its current form, there are opportunities to better the information by making a purchase.

I always use a couple of simple explanations to illustrate this …

  • If you created a product called “How To Make $5K Per Month With An Autoresponder” and walked readers through the process step-by-step, that would be “useful” information. But, what’s missing? An autoresponder service! That’s when you’d recommend a service as the “incomplete” part.
  • If you created a report entitled, “5 Ways To Save Your Marriage” that would be “useful” information. You could backend a report entitled, “101 Ways To Save Your Marriage” which would be the “incomplete” part. There are MORE ideas available for someone wishing to enhance what they already have.

Don’t have any guru friends? You can still have a great product launch just check this out

Thanks,

Danny Clare

Keep Your Visitors by Keeping Your Blog Fresh…

December 13, 2008 · Filed Under Blog, Writing · Comment

I really must start posting to this blog more. If you are filling your blog or site with good content then your visitors should return over and over. But you must KEEP on doing that.

I am very guilty of this myself, and know I am going to try and change this over the next few weeks and watch how my traffic changes.

Another thing is to keep your sidebars and the more permanent content up to date. Recently I added a couple of affiliate links to the side of my blog, the sales for these products instantly increased the same week, even with only small amounts of traffic.

The next thing I am going to do is start outsourcing the management of some of my other blogs to other people which will give me time to work on managing my business. This has definitely got to be a step in the right direction and something you, no doubt, should be trying to do even on your own level, be it above or below mine.

Now time for some social marketing ;)…

Learn How To Earn $5000/Month….For Free!

October 12, 2008 · Filed Under Affiliate Marketing · Comment

One of the best ways to make money online is via affiliate marketing.

The affiliate is given an opportunity to earn money via promoting their link (cost effective yet highly rewarding), whereas the publisher is given a way to advertise their site for free.

If carried out correctly, affiliate marketing can be highly profitable for the affiliate. We see many sites on the internet nowadays detailing how to make substantial profits from affiliate marketing.
But we have to ask ourselves, do the proposed methods work?

Tom Mansell has been a close friend of mine online for a couple of years now. He is just a 19 year old kid who has been plugging away, day after day.

His amazing story started when he was 16 selling ebooks on eBay, but he has evolved and now is earning a steady affiliate income week after week, month after month.

Now, taking his business to the next level, he has developed his profits into a system, step by step, that anyone can follow! Furthermore, he is giving you access for free!

Interested in grabbing your slice of the affiliate marketing pie?

Still not convinced? Tom has decided to let you have a chapter for nothing! No signup, no purchase, no nothing. If you want to download the free chapter just click here! (Right click, save as) I promise you will not be disapointed.

Interested in earning your own affiliate income? Tom’s product is the place to start, and now is the time!

Thanks

Optimize Your 404 Page NOW!

September 13, 2008 · Filed Under Traffic · Comment

G’Day!

Recently I noticed ALOT of traffic hitting my 404 error pages every day and instantly I remembered what I had learnt from 404 Secrets (highly recommended btw) and quickly added some html redirect code to link it to my offer here.

The next day I woke up to an inbox with several sales more than usual!

What a nice surprise! I was very happy that the technique had worked and it just goes to show that you can easily make money online with simple tactics like that.

My salespage is definetly not the best and the traffic isn’t targetted, but thanks to the amount of the traffic through the 404 error pages.

So check your stats today, how many error page hits are you getting? Get a HOT offer for a short price and make sure you are getting the buyer to optin, perhaps even have something so irresistable but just require the visitor to opt-in.

Experiment today and watch how well it works ;)

Thanks
Danny Clare

Three Steps To Building A Responsive Relationship With Your List

September 6, 2008 · Filed Under Uncategorized · 2 Comments

Having a list of targeted and responsive buyers is like having money right at your fingertips ready for the taking. However, just having a list is one half of your moneymaking equation. You must build a good and solid relationship with those on your list; otherwise you will be tagged as just another marketer. Here are three steps to help you build a responsive relationship with those on your list.

1) Provide good information. Now this may sound like a no-brainer, but think of all the lists that you are on. Have you ever been on someone’s list and had him or her jam crappy information at you? I have and it has had me racing to the “unsubscribe” link in their email. If I am on a list for soccer tips, then I most certainly do not want to hear about how to shoot a basketball or how to throw a baseball. I want to hear how I can improve my footwork or how I can become more accurate at kicking. The key here is to give them the information that they requested. If you do that and do a good job of it, chances are they will be more apt to buying whatever you are selling in the future.

2) Don’t sell all the time. The whole point of having a list is so you can sell to them, but they do not want to be sold to all the time. Sure you can have a link to your product in your signature, but don’t blatantly sell to them. If a member of your list sees your emails as just another sales page, chances are they won’t even open your email once they see it. Providing good information will give you the best chance to having your emails opened and read. This will also give you a better conversion rate when you do decide to pitch a product, as they will see you more as a trusted expert and not just another marketer.

3) Pitch only good products. Browse affiliate networks such as click bank and you can see what products are selling at a breakneck pace. Look further though and you will be able to see which ones are also getting returned and refunded at a breakneck pace. Don’t pitch products just because they are popular. Pitch them because you know they are good. Nothing will upset a list member faster than realizing that their so-called “trusted expert” recommended a bad product.

The money is indeed in the list, however it is in a responsive list. The key is to constantly build and grow your list so that they are eagerly awaiting your next email. Providing good information to them, not always selling and pitching only good products are three huge steps to building a responsive relationship with your list. Once they are responsive and are actively seeking out your messages in their inbox, you can be sure that you will have a very profitable relationship. Build your list the correct way and you will profit from it for years.

Thanks
Danny Clare

The 3 Keys To Creating Compelling Subject Lines

August 30, 2008 · Filed Under Writing · Comment

Writing the highest converting email sales pitch or article is worthless if you do not write a compelling subject or title line. Yes, you read that correctly. The key to getting the click is your subject or title line. If you cannot write an attention grabbing subject or title line, then your attempts to make any sort of sales will likely go down the tube as your email or article will not get much clicks. Mastering that part of your writing efforts can have you on the fast track of success. Here are three keys to creating compelling subject lines.

Use attention-grabbing words in your subject line…

Let’s use the example of an email list comprised of men wanting to learn how to talk to women. Imagine that you have just written a highly informative email on based on interviews with top relationship experts who have spilled their guts to give you insider secrets. Now imagine that your subject line reads like this: “Mike, Get more phone numbers with this email.” While that will get some people to open the email, you can spike your open rates through the roof with just a few choice words. Try this on for size: “Mike, Want to learn 10 Surefire Ways To Get A Woman’s Phone Number?” Using words like “surefire” tells the reader that they must be pretty powerful secrets.

Address their needs…

If the need that I have is to get more dates by learning how to talk to women, then I probably do not want to hear about learning to play the guitar. Too often our email lists become our personal SPAM list. Please don’t do this just to make a few bucks. Addressing your target audience’s needs will have them reading your messages more often. Give them the tips they are looking for. If they want to learn how to get a woman’s phone number then give them that, don’t offer them something they did not sign up for.

Create curiosity in your subject line…

Nothing piques someone’s interest faster than asking a question or creating curiosity. Going back to our example subject line of: “Mike, Want to learn 10 Surefire Ways To Get A Woman’s Phone Number?” I can see the interest building as the reader starts to wonder what the 10 surefire ways are. This kind of curiosity will cause the reader to click on the message just to see what all the hype is about.

Through this example I have just implemented all three concepts. I have grabbed the attention of the reader with strong wording such as “surefire,” I have also addressed the needs of the reader by giving him a way to get more phone numbers and have created curiosity by asking a question.

If you can master the first half of successful email or article marketing which is creating compelling subject lines, you can almost guarantee that sales will increase. Following these three tips will have you well on your way to success.

Thanks
Danny

Using short reports to fire up your business…

February 19, 2008 · Filed Under Blog · Comments Off

Many top marketers preach that viral marketing is one of the most effective ways of driving huge amounts of traffic to your website. Some marketers have even launched their online businesses and kept them working because of their viral marketing strategies - one successful example of this is Lee McIntyre and he reveals how he has made over $100,000 since starting online 6-7 months ago on his site here.

But how else can you write your way to viral success?

Well today I have got 2 quick tips for you today…

Number One - Write a HOT viral report (yeah yeah, you’ve heard it all before…)

Ok so yeah, you know about writing a report that is packed with hot information, that people will be happy to share with their friends and, if you do it well, their list, but they’re several things you must do to make sure this happens. Fristly, it must be good information for your report to go viral (especially in the make money niche). Also I recommend you do NOT force people to opt-in for a free report, if you have to opt-in it is not, strictly speaking, free anymore.

Why not offer the opt-in? I have found this way produces much better results. Also you can have plenty of links on the download page, you can have redirects etc. Just don’t force the opt-in. SIMPLE.

Now I also recommend you don’t stuff the report full of links to your site, affiliate products or friends sites and offers. I recommend that you place a simple link in the footer to your site or offer, prefferably going straight to sales/squeeze page of some sort. Keeping it almost link free will encourage people to share it as much as possible as long as the information is something people will benefit from.

A final thing to encourage people to re-distribute your report and promote your business is to allow them to brand your footer link and put their affiliate link but to YOUR product at the bottom of each page. This will encourage the re-distribution no end!

Try these techniques and watch them work ;)
Number Two - Write an article or squeeze page for your re-distributers to use to get people to download your report once they have re-branded it…

Here’s the lowdown, simply write a interesting and gripping article (like this one ;-) ) and give it to your affiliates to use to get people to the download page for their version of YOUR report. Encouraging your affiliates to take action will increase the amount of action they actually take to help you build your business.

Providing them with materials they need will do the rest to get them working for you. Also remember that YOUR list is FULL of people who will be ready to promote your product whatever niche you are in, let them know about the report, how they can brand it, make money and set the off.  Remember, explain all the important points if they aren’t in a tech savvy or make money niche. Also make it simpler for people who aren’t used to the ways of the internet marketing world.

Anyway, let me know how you manage your viral marketing and what gives you the best results.

Thanks for reading,
Danny
